CIP Lounge, Athens International Airport

The proposal for the new CIP Lounge draws inspiration from the contemporary trends and trades of global travelling. Extensive research on the demographics of the passengers, the emerging requirements for new concepts in the proposed amenities and services, the online lounge commodities etc become key inspiration points for reinventing the airport lounge character and creating an experience that accommodates the traveller’s needs and lifestyle. The visual identity draws from the idea of enhancing the experience of the “Place” ie. Athens. The design proposes materials, colors, configurations and implementation methods familiar to the Athenian visual identity over the years.
