Design: 2019 • Client: OTE ESTATE • Invited competition Architectural Design and Interior design for the renovation of 26 floors of OTE Megaron Headquarters • Area: 1.100 sqm x 26 • Sector: Technology & Communication Administration Offices • Services: Architectural Design, Interior Design, Lighting Design

Continuous programmatic flexibility is the critical requirement of the competition’s brief and the core of the architectural design that proposes a custom designed “System” of flexible floor plan management. The system proposes a “Cloud” which combines a detailed and technically elaborate supporting ceiling grid and its supplementary components. that may implement endless variations of space division. The system is supplemented by its “components”, which are the movable roof panels and partition walls, the custom prefab false ceiling panels, the lighting elements, and a guide for electromechanical installations etc. The system operates as a spatial ‘Network’, applying the rules for an interior layout flexibility that constantly adapts to the users’ requirements. “Cloud” may be regarded as is the minimum physical infrastructure for an ever-changing spatial convention.

A devised layout provides workspace flexibility, according to the developing operational and programmatic requirements.
